Big Sistah Conference 2010 & 1 Year Birthday Celebration

The Date: Friday 29th October 2010
The Venue: Lambeth Academy, Elms road, Clapham, London SW4 9ET
The Time(s): 10:00am – 4:30pm (for the conference) and 5:00pm – 7:00pm (for the showcase)
Age(s): For ages 8 & upwards. (*Please Note: There will be different workshops for different age groups)

Activities for little Sistahs (8 -13 years) include:

- Arts and Crafts (Including Jewellery Making)
- Cooking
- Dance
- “Beauty is Skin Deep” (A Seminar Looking At Maintaining A Healthy Body, Looking After Your Skin, Eating Healthily & much much more)
- Self Esteem (Age Appropriate)
- Games Hall

Activities for Big Sistahs (14 -19 years) include:

- Singing
- Drugs & Alcohol
- Relationships & Sexual Health
- Careers Advice
- Health & Fitness

Activities for Big Mammas (20+) include:

- Cooking
- Working Together With Parents (Sharing Parental Tips, Getting Advice)
- Girls & Gangs (Mothers who have experience with their daughters in gangs will be sharing their stories & giving practical advice for parents)
- Massage
- Getting Back In To Employment
- Beauty
- Health & Fitness
